Prof. Thomas Magedanz will give a Keynote Speech at National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) Annual Meeting, Bangkok, Thailand, August 25, 2013: “Smart Communication Platforms for Prototyping Smart City Applications”And there will also be a half day tutorial  by T. Magedanz on the subject “Towards Smart City Service Delivery and Control Platforms – Putting SDP, IMS, MTC, and EPC into a single context” August 26, 2013

Based on an MoU between TU Berlin and Telkom Institute of Technology (IT Telkom) for the cooperation in education and research in Bali in Indonesia (see also NGNI-News) IT Telkom is now becoming on of the first academic partner for OpenMTC in Asia. The FOKUS OpenMTC platform will be deployed in March / April within their new Smart Communications Lab.In addition, Prof. Thomas Magedanz will be presenting a keynote entitled “Smart Communication Platforms for Prototyping  Smart City Applications" at the International Conference of Information and Communication Technology (ICoICT) to be held at The Trans Luxury Hotel in Bandung, Indonesia, 20-22 March 2013,

Chaired by Dr. Stefan Covaci (Technische Universität Berlin) and Dr. Nguyen Thanh (Hanoi University of Science and Technology), this workshop brings together key academic, industrial and governmental players to discuss UNIFI topics. The workshop is organized around 6 key-notes and a panel discussion.
